Herco

_Herco was the accessory division of a comnay started by Jerry & Eddie Hershman.  The name came from a combination of Hershman + Company!  Their main company was started in 1940 in New York and sold musical instruments  For a fantastic history of Herco written by Joe Macey, click here.

I'll start with the cork grips as they're the earliest Herco's on here. Herco's can be distinguished from D'Andrea's by the cork. Herco used a very 'bitty' cork, whereas D'Andrea used a smooth finish cork.

The Dynamite White & Bugablue H212 rounded tri. These are so thin & flimsy! (Known as Thaddeus Thins). The Dynamite White came out in 1976. Note the upside down logo on these.
