PiGLET
These picks have been designed by Terence Aukaha, with finger and thumb grip features so there's no chance of the pick slipping around in your fingers. What's really unique is that they don't just assume that all guitarists hold the pick the same way. So, whether you use a single finger and thumb, double finger and thumb, there's a pick for you! They are also suitable for all levels from beginner to expert.
They are produced in engineering grade polymers in a large range of colours.

The new PiGLET Graphite Series
After several months in the pipeline, PiGLET have released their new extra hard Graphite Series, which are must say, are very plain in design compared to their other ranges! However, the thing they have addressed here is tone.
Graphite composite is a material that is sought after by many guitarists because of it's full tonal properties (Jerry Garcia, Trey Anastasio etc.). Companies such as Ovation (Adamas) started producing them (I guess in the 80's.) recognising that graphite has a fundamentally different sound quality, there is no dampening in graphite, no pick click.

As you can see, there are three different flavours: Lead, Rhythm & Bass and these all come in either 1mm or 2mm.
PiGLET 1 - Lead range
For the lead version, the angle held is such that allows the back of the palm, (closest the wrist) to be near the strings so as to allow the palm to be able to "muffle" the strings quickly and with ease. The forearm rests near the guitar body giving foundation and stability from the body for delicate wrist action if required.
Lead versions are available in "single finger" for those who use the index finger only and a thumb to hold a guitar pick, and a 'double finger" for those who use two fingers and a thumb to hold a guitar plectrum.
The PiGLET 1 lead range of guitar picks is best suited for fast scales, blues, jazz, sweeping, thrash and metal lead progression.

PiGLET 2 - Rhythm range
Unlike the "Lead" version, the angle on the rhythm version (PiGLET 2) has been adjusted by 35 degrees allowing the forearm to be clear and free from the guitar body.Another unique feature to the rhythm version of plectra, is the thin 0.6 mm tip that has been added to the Piglet 2 rhythym version. This added feature, combined with carefully selected polymers, have given the Piglet 2 range of guitar picks the flexibility you need for smooth rhythm performances.

P2SN Single finger + thumb grip, Nylon rhythm plectrum.
PiGLET 3 - Heavy rhythm / bass
At a request for a thicker tipped version of the Piglet 2, Piglet 3 has been designed with the thicker tip to assist with heavy rhythm sessions and due to the thickness of the tip, is also appropriate for some bass guitar applications. Although the same overall shape as the other rhythm versions, Piglet 3 has been designed with only the unique thumb groove to stop rotation and add stability during extremely heavy rhythm or bass guitar sessions.

PiGLET 4 Superflex
Also at request from the rhythm sections of guitar for a super flexible version, was born the PIGLET 4 superflex. Piglet 4 is based on the shape and thickness of standard guitar picks that are currently available, with the exception of tear drop shaped holes placed strategically thru the body of the pick, allowing the skin of each finger to contact the skin on the thumb which in turn maintains the stability and anti rotational features that is PiGLET. The "tear drop" holes are also positioned in such a way as to add uncomparable flexibility as requested by many players.
As this version is the latest of the PiGLET range, tests are still being undertaken to test the variations of flexibility and retention for this version, and pending the outcome, may also make available to public, varied flexibility ranges of the PiGLET 4 version.

New Releases
As each new version of plectrum is under design by Polyspectrum they undergo testing using various types of polymers. As a result the Piglet 1 lead version is available in two engineering grade plastics. Firstly there is a glass/mineral impregnated Nylon at a selected engineering grade, giving ultimate strength, with minimal wear from contact with the strings while giving a deep rich tone and highly responsive striking action. Also available, is a transparent Polycarbonate version which has an almost glass smooth surface finish, allowing for a fast slick playing style. The sound responce is much crisper tone effect with sharp attack, desirable to escentuating top end performances. The "Polycarbonate". lead plectra range are available in a large amount of colours ranging from clear and transparent colours thru to solid colours such as pearls or golds and silvers. The "Glass/mineral reinforced Nylon" is available in many colours but only in solid (non-transparent) form. The surface texture of this material has a bone-like roughness giving unbelievably rich sounding notes every time the pick touches the strings. A must for graunchy jazz, blues or metal.
The rhythm versions have been released in non re-enforced engineering grade Nylon, specifically for flexibility, low wear and high retention rate features. They are released in many non transparent unique colours giving each its own individuality.
Polyspectrum has gone to extra lengths to ensure that the plectra are symetrically even from side to side, edge to edge, unlike most predecessors. As a player you can be assured that the PiGLET plectrum you use is made with precision.
